9/14/08 - Chili

Roseann and I subbed for Evee's Sunbeams class again, and as there wasn't a specific lesson given to us, I brought in my guitar and talked a little about music and did a few simple sing-a-long songs. After learning about tithing last week, the girls were excited to give their $1 of tithing to the bishop today. Still thinking back to Roseann's "1 out of 10 pieces of popcorn" lesson, Evee said that the bishop didn't need to eat her dollar.

After church, we had a nice chili dinner at Jean and Larry's, then worked a little more on the "Blackbeard..." video. Normally, we try not to work on business stuff on Sundays, but we're feeling a bit of a crunch with the amount of work that still needs to be done and our deadline looming...
