2008 Spring/Summer Tour - Day 1

Our target time for leaving today was about 3 pm. We ended up leaving at about 6:30 pm, which is about right for us... It felt really great to be back on the road in our "bus" after about 6 months, especially with the new "paint job" (well, that's what everybody seems to call it, but it's actually a vinyl wrap).

The first stop was to the gas station. The picture you see below has been Photoshopped, because of course, I wasn't really smiling... I was in tears at the cost of filling up my tank.

We drove for a few hours and spent the night at an RV site at Memaloose State Park near The Dalles in Oregon.
