2008 Spring/Summer Tour - Day 32

We went to church out in North Vegas so we could meet up with our friend, Chalice, and her family. We spent a few days with them last year when we were in town and had to get together at least once this time, though that was difficult with our respective schedules (usually set as they are on "full"). We stopped over to their house for some tacos and to catch up, though again we had that feeling of "weren't we just here a day or two ago??" It has actually been seven months now, so there was quite a lot to catch up on. Evee and Becca had a great time playing with their kids, who are all two or more years older than them but are happy to oblige them.

One of the first things their son, Chase, asked, was "How is Lois?" The last time we were here, Becca amused everyone with her detailed descriptions and stories about her imaginary friend, Lois the Circle Monster. (Note that Lois is a boy and his name is pronounced "Low-izz", not "Low-iss".) You can see one of Becca's early drawings of Lois below. Lois is quite the character, and Becca hopes to make an animated movie about him someday.

The girls were pretty wiped out again after that visit, so we came back to the KOA and put them to bed, then did some web surfing and watched some TV shows before going to bed ourselves.
