2008 Spring/Summer Tour - Day 66

We went out this morning to see Charlie the Noiseguy's show at the library in Zachary. Wow, what a fun show! It's not just the many different noises he does... he's really got a lot of good comedy in his performance. We all had a great time. Our mutual friend from Seattle, Anne, was definitely right... we both share a similar sense of humor and approach to children's entertainment, though used in a different context, of course. I really hope Charlie and I are able to work together on a project someday.

We stopped to do some shopping and get some gas (it's about $3.80 around here), then went back to the RV park we'd stayed at before, next to the equestrian center. The girls worked on their computers for a while (Gramma Jean and Grampa Larry helped fund their homeschooling laptops... the girls are very thankful for that) and we did some work and made some phone calls and such.

Roseann made some garlic pancakes for dinner (apparently garlic in your system is good for keeping the bugs here away... and vampires, too!), then we put the girls to bed and watched some more Arrested Development and went to sleep ourselves.

Please share the garlic pancake recipe! I'll try most things once.
