2008 Spring/Summer Tour - Day 69

My two shows today were at the Eden Park branch library and the main East Baton Rouge library. Both were very crowded with very active and enthusiastic kids. The first show had one of the loudest audiences I can recall.

After the first show we went back to the RV park and hung out for a while, and after the second show we stopped at a laundromat to do a couple of loads of laundry. We've decided that trying to get that done at hotels and RV parks where there are limited machines and long walks is probably not preferable to the average coin-op laundry place. Plus, there was a pizza place nearby, so I grabbed a couple of pizzas for us to eat while we waited.

We went to the RV park and hung out for a while and watched some shows and did some computer stuff, and then went to bed a little earlier than usual.

This week has been a little bit better in terms of the weather... Instead of being in the high 90's and with humidity in the 80-90% range, it's been in the high 80's with humidity in the 70-80% range. Still very hot and humid, but a little more bearably so, especially compared to last week. People here keep saying that this is only June, and it gets hotter and more humid further into the summer. Wow...

Yosi is a kids' music performer from New Jersey, and he has a blog where he's posted some Father's Day interviews with several different children's performers. You can read mine here. (I love Ev's response to Roseann's question, "Who IS cool?")
