The girls worked on some craft projects this morning... Becca made a frog and Evee made a monkey. We went to church, where the girls made me a really nice Father's Day picture rock. We came back to the RV park and had dinner, then watched Cars together. That's probably our least favorite of all the Pixar movies, but it's still very enjoyable, so that says a lot about how great their other movies are.
The girls went to bed and Roseann and I played some computer games and went to sleep. Last night, Roseann had made a new swingy toy for Tiggy and playing with that before bedtime seemed to help him sleep better overnight (he is very much nocturnal and often keeps us up at night). Hopefully, that will be the case again tonight. I definitely need the rest, as my cold is still there and I've got a sore throat now, too... which is not good with seven shows to do this week. Yikes!

We could never take a trip in an RV with either of our cats. They each have a banshee-like cry, and have to be locked in the basement at night where we can't hear them.
When they were younger, we actually had to sedate one of them (with Amitriptylene) because he was so incredibly hyper. He would throw himself at the walls and doors, jump wildly on the furniture, and make strange guttural cries. The vet had us give him half a tablet of Amitriptylene each day, and it calmed him down a lot. We did that for two years, and then he seemed to start calming down on his own. Now he's just about the perfect loving cat.
Not saying you should sedate your cat! But if it's a big problem with you guys sleeping, it might be something to ask a vet about.
Yeah, there seems to be a direct correlation between how much activity he has, and that we provide for him, and how well he'll sleep at night. He's actually been very good the last week or two... knock on wood!
