2008 Spring/Summer Tour - Day 70

My first show today was at the Baker branch library and it was another big and fun crowd that included a young kid who identified himself as "Wolf Boy". I thought that was strange, as he wasn't really that hairy, but the audience roared with laughter. We stopped to do some shopping and then went to my afternoon show at the Zachary library. The room wasn't quite as full as some of the other recent shows, but it was a really terrific audience.

On our way back to the RV park, we stopped at Mike Anderson's for dinner. Mike Anderson's is the restaurant that we went to in Gonzales where we had alligator and seafood. They had given us a gift certificate after the long delay of that meal, and thankfully, this other one close to where we're staying honored that and even added to it. Once again, it was really delicious. This time, Roseann opted for a full plate of alligator and I had shrimp and we all shared some yummy cheesecake and lemonade pie for dessert. Also, on our way out, we happened to notice cards that had the recipe for those amazing hush puppies, so now we'll have to make some of those back home.

We got back to the RV park and the girls went right to bed (they'd opted to skip their naps today, so they had to go to bed earlier than usual), and we took Tiggy for a walk and did some computer stuff before going to bed ourselves.

No, there wasn't a mouse on the floor... BJ, the librarian, wanted to get a better look while judging the dance contest...

My new driving pillow...
